23529687 Cpl D J McCarthy (known as Mac) in B Squadron SCLI for six years until demob in 1965, re-enlisted in 3 RTR, and left the Army in 1978. Known associates: Timber Woods, Al Crenol, Baggie Burford, among others.
I am now in touch with Mac, he lives in Spain, I understand he attended a couple of SCLI reunions before going missing, he has sent a few pictures and will next be in UK during July, when we hope to meet.

This photo was taken in Tobruck in 1960/61. The General was asking me the usual questions: Do you like it here? No. Been here long? Cannot remember. Next to me is Bomber Brown.
